Softball Wins First Leopack Contest

La Verne’s Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) has announced that the Leopard softball team is the winner of the first annual Leopack Contest for winter season.

Softball won by a landslide of over 700 points.   With the victory, its name will be engraved on the Leopack Contest plaque.   

The goal of the Leopack Contest - organized by SAAC -  is to encourage Leopard teams to support other sports within the La Verne Athletic community. 

The Spring Season of the Leopack Contest gets underway this weekend with the baseball team hosting Pomona-Pitzer Friday night at Mt. SAC and softball hosting Redlands on Saturday in a doubleheader at Wheeler Park.
