LA VERNE, CA — The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced on Monday that Briana Vasquez has been named SCIAC Softball Pitcher of the Week.

The freshman led the Leopards in the circle to a six-inning, 10-1 run-rule win over Bethel. She pitched a complete game and only allowed one run on three hits while striking out five batters and improving her record to 2-1.

In her 2025 campaign, Vasquez has a 3.71 ERA.

The Leopards continue action this Thursday when they open up SCIAC play against the Cal Lutheran Regals at 3 p.m. in Thousand Oaks.
