Leopards Sit #8 In Golfstat.com Rankings
The University of La Verne golf team ranks #8 nationally in the latest Golfstat.com head-to-head rankings released April 7.
The Leopards are ranked #8 based on their 257-8 overall record against Division III opponents in addition to posting four victories against Top 25 schools. La Verne also enjoyed a scoring average of 76.72 through last weekend.
Methodist University holds the top spot in the rankings followed Huntingdon College and Guilford College to round out the Top 3.
La Verne, which recently earned first-place honors at the SCIAC #4 Tournament, is one of three conference schools among the Top 10 in the Golfstat.com rankings. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps is ranked #7 overall while Redlands is ranked #9.
