Trio of Leopards Named To SCIAC All-Academic Team
Three members of the University of La Verne men's water polo squad were among the honorees for the SCIAC All-Academic Team for the 2011 season.
La Verne's honorees included senior center Andrew Mackay, senior center Kyle Thorsness along with sophomore driver Daniel Hargis.
The All-Academic Team is made up of student-athletes who have at least a 3.40 cumulative grade point average at his/her current institution, must have completed one full calendar year at his/her current institution, and must have reached sophomore athletic eligibility. In the case of transfers, graduate students, and two-year college graduates, the student-athlete must have completed one full calendar year at the nominating institution.
