AJ Licon at NCAA Championships
Freshman AJ Licon completed his season at the NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country championships finishing 228th out of 279 runners on Saturday on the campus of Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa.
Licon posted a time of 26:24.0 on the eight-kilometer course, finishing 28 seconds off his personal best.
Anders Hulleburg of Haverford won the men's race in 24:22.2. Hulleburg led Haverford to the overall team title.
A product of Alta Loma High School, Licon was the first-ever Leopard runner to compete in the NCAA Cross Country Championships, qualifying with a 13th place effort at last week's West Region Championships in Salem, Oregon.
