Leopard Men's & Women's Team Earn CSCAA Scholar All-America Honors

The University of La Verne Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving teams earned Team Scholar All-America Awards from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).

Both the Leopard men and women ranked among the very best among Division III squads academically. The La Verne Women's Swimming and Diving teams ranked 22nd in all of Division III with a 3.44 team grade point average during the fall 2011 semester, while the Leopard Men's Swim and Dive squad ranked posted a 3.13 GPA to rank 50th among Division III institutions.

The CSCAA team scholar all American award is presented to college and university swimming and diving teams who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

With more than 400 schools participating in Division III athletics, La Verne has been recognized repeatedly for its strong success in the classroom and boasts a tradition of excellence for its intercollegiate athletics program—both athletically and academically.
