Leopards Drop Non-Conference Match

The University of La Verne hosted the Britons of Albion College, but suffered an 8-1 loss Monday afternoon at the Claremont Club.

Sophomore Leopard Rebecca Rodriguez would give La Verne some life with a 6-1, 6-4 win over Anna Gundersen, but it would not be enough, as the Britons would go on to take the rest of the sets.

La Verne will host two more matches this week at the Claremont Club against the Sewanee Tigers (3:00pm start on Thursday) and the Skidmore Thoroughbreds (3:30pm start on Friday).
