SAAC, Leopard Tennis Take Part In Campus Kids Day

On March 24, SAAC along with the United States Tennis Association helped sponsor USTA Campus Kids Day, held in conjunction with the Leopard tennis team's match against Puget Sound at The Claremont Club. 

Several children from the greater La Verne community took part in the festivities which included food, contests and other prizes throughout the afternoon.  Campus Kids Day is an initiative by the USTA and is designed to expose current and aspiring junior players to college tennis.

"It was exciting to see the kids come out to support our team," said Leopard tennis coach Yolanda Duron.  "It was also great to see our players interact with the kids and allow them to see what collegiate tennis is all about."
