Leopard Women Excel At Redlands Invite

Meet Results

The University of La Verne women's track & field team enjoyed impressive performances at the Redlands Invitational Friday at Ted Runner Stadium.

The Leopard women posted four individual first place finishes while also adding a win in the 4 x 100 meter relay.

Losa Akauloga was a double winner, earning first place in both the shot put and hammer events.  Akauloga tossed the hammer 140-5 while winning the shot put with an effort of 41-2 1/2.  She also finished second in the discus with a throw of 118-5.

Tyne McClure earned a first place finish in the long jump with a leap of 16-11 1/4 while also finishing second in the triple jump at 34-7. 

Kendall Kraiss also was an event winner, earning first place in the javelin with a toss of 111-10.

The 4 x 100 team of Nicole Crutchfield, Ebony Williams, Maritza Williams and Samantha Tucker raced to a winning time of 49.36.

At the Oxy Distance Carnival in Los Angeles, Andrea Arceo ran a personal best of 4:56 in the 1500 meters to record the fifth-fastest time in Leopard history.
