Maynes, Celaya Named First Team All-SCIAC

LA VERNE, CA — Madison Maynes and Haley Celaya have been tabbed First Team All-SCIAC the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced Monday.

Maynes earns All-SCIAC honors for back-to-back seasons and picks up first-team honors for the first time in her career. The senior leads the SCIAC with 9.55 assists per set and 953 total assists, 50 more than the next closest player. She also ranks second on the Leopards' squad with 328 digs and 3.25 digs per set.

The Rialto native has also added 66 kills, 17 aces, and 19 digs this season.

Celaya picks up All-SCIAC honors for the second year in a row and also earns first-team recognition for the first time. The sophomore has put together another outstanding season for the Leopards. She boasts a stat line of 237 kills, 119 digs, 21 blocks, 24 aces, and 10 assists.

Maynes and Celaya will lead the Leopards on Thursday as they travel to face No. 5 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps in the opening game of the SCIAC Postseason Tournament.
