Aaron Reyes, and
Marissa Hehir have been named All-SCIAC, the Southern California Intercollegiate Atheltic Conference announced officially on Monday.
The runners earned the honors based on their finish at last Saturday's SCIAC Cross Country Championships.
Berhe finished fifth overall in the men's race with a time of 25:04.5 and earned First Team All-SCIAC honors for the second straight season by finishing in the top ten.Â
Reyes and Hehir each earned Second Team All-SCIAC honors for finishing between 11th and 20th. Reyes finished 12th overall with a time of 25:29.1 and Hehir finished 17th in the women's race with a time of 23:32.3.
The Leopards' top seven runners from both the men's and women's teams will compete again on Saturday, November 11 at the NCAA West Regional.Â
The race will take place on the Riverside City Cross Country Course. The men's race is scheduled for 8:00 a.m. and the women's will start at 9:0 a.m. The winning team will automatically qualify for the NCAA Championships while the top seven individuals from both races not on the winning team (or any of the at-large teams selected) will also qualify for the Championships.
