Our Mission
It is the goal of the Leopard Athletic Department to offer an optimal game day experience for all of our student-athletes, fans, and spectators in all of our 18 sports programs. Our athletics student workers are essential in reaching our goal. We value each and every one of our student workers who prepare and operate our contests and help ensure an efficient, well-managed event for our student-athletes, spectators, and for all Leopard Athletic fans who support our efforts.
Our Purpose
As an athletics student worker, your role is vital in creating a positive and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone involved in the game day experience. You will be responsible for various tasks such as setting up and tearing down equipment, managing the scoreboard and digital displays, assisting with equipment and facility maintenance, and much more. In addition to gaining valuable work experience, being an athletics student worker provides numerous benefits. You will have the opportunity to develop important skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and communication. You will also have the chance to network with athletic department staff, coaches, and other student workers, which can open doors to future opportunities within the sports industry. We value your contributions and are committed to your growth and development. We offer flexible scheduling options that accommodate your school schedule, external work schedule, and practice and competition schedules. We provide ongoing training and support to ensure that you are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in your role.
