THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. - In an exhilarating soccer showdown at William Rolland Stadium on the campus of Cal Lutheran University, the La Verne Leopards faced off against the Kingsmen resulting in a hard-fought 1-1 draw.
The game saw both teams putting up a strong fight.
Owen Osagiede from La Verne struck first, finding the back of the net at 04:59 giving his team an early lead. However, Cal Lutheran answered back at 74:40, with Joel Wollin scoring, assisted by Preston Fleming, leveling the score.
The match was marked by tight defense and excellent saves. La Verne's goalkeeper
Hector Duenas-Peña made 3 saves, while Cal Lutheran's goalkeeper saved one. The teams displayed their offensive ability with a total of 17 shots in the game.
