THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. - The University of La Verne's volleyball team continued their undefeated journey with a thrilling victory over Texas Lutheran at Gilbert Arena on the Cal Lutheran University Campus. The Leopards showed their strength in a four-set match with set scores of 25-13, 22-25, 25-21, and 25-17.

Mya Ray led the charge with an impressive 24 kills, while
Ayana Mier added 13Â and
Zacky Coaston contributed 10.
Madison Smith's 27 digs and
Lauren Gott's 26 digs ensured a strong defense throughout the game.

The Leopards are ranked second overall in SCIAC as Conference play gets underway. In addition to ranking second in statistics like kills, assists, hitting percentage, and points, La Verne also tops the charts for aces.
Mya Ray, a sensational sophomore, leads the SCIAC conference with 4.67 kills per set. In terms of assists,
Malia Capistrano comes close to taking the conference lead, and at 4.5 digs per set
Madison Smith is seated second overall.
