LA VERNE, Calif. - The Univesrity of La Verne took on the Kingsmen of Cal Lutheran University at Las Flores Park in a midweek SCIAC matchup. The Kingsmen took home the win 13-18.
The first half of the game was a back and forth scoring match between both teams. For La Verne, it was a balanced scoring attack structure and only
Peter Trinh (3) had more than 2 goals out of the 8. The second half got away from the Leopards and they were unable to close the gap in time.
Notable contributions from the Leopards included Trinh who had 14 shots on goal with 5 finding their mark;
Jordan Baker and
Nicolo Buono each scored 3 for the Leopards; and
Eric Bates added 15 saves. Â
