LA VERNE, Calif. – The University of La Verne volleyball team closed out the Pacific Coast Classic with a 3-0 win over the St. Catherine Wildcats.
The team once again put on an offensive showcase, hitting .330 collectively on the match. Three Leopards highlighted the effort hitting .463 combined on 29 kills and only 5 errors.
Maya Ray let the trio with 15 kills, 3 errors, and 26 attempts for .462.
Noelani Soma was next with 9 kills, 1 error, and 18 attempts for .444. And
Ayana Mier anchored the trifecta notching 5 kills, 1 error, and 10 attempts for .400.

Madison Smith who lead the team with 10 digs.
The Leopards will prepare this week for another tournament at home starting with the Slugs of Santa Cruz on Friday, September 8
th at 7pm in the Tents.
