Box Score LA VERNE, CA - The top-ranked University of La Verne women's volleyball team continued their dominant run Friday night, sweeping the University of Redlands in straight sets (25-21, 25-19, 25-16) at the Sports Science and Athletic Pavilion to improve to 15-0 overall and 6-0 in SCIAC play. 

From the opening serve, La Verne showcased the balance and composure that has defined their unbeaten season. Lauren Gott led the offensive charge with nine kills on a blistering .563 hitting percentage, while Zacky Coaston anchored the front line with seven kills and a match-high eight total blocks. Mariah Ray and Mya Ray combined for 14 kills, continuing their reliable offensive rhythm.

Setter America Reynaga orchestrated the Leopard attack with 10 assists, and Vanessa Marquez added seven more, keeping Redlands' defense guessing throughout the match. On the defensive end, Valerie Gallegos and Malia Capistrano combined for 12 digs, helping La Verne hold the Bulldogs to just a .018 team hitting percentage.

The Leopards sealed the match with their signature efficiency, hitting .238 overall and closing each set with poise. With the win, La Verne remains the only undefeated team in the conference and continues to build momentum heading into the second half of the season.
