BLOOMINGTON, IL. - University of La Verne senior outside hitter Mya Ray has been named to the NCAA Division III Women's Volleyball Championship All-Tournament Team, following a powerfull three-match performance at the national championships in Bloomington, Illinois. Ray was the only Leopard selected to the prestigious squad.

Across La Verne's Elite Eight, Final Four, and National Championship matches, Ray totaled 79 kills while hitting over .320, including 27 kills in the quarterfinal win over UW-Eau Claire, a 36-kill effort in the five-set semifinal victory over Berry, and 16 kills in the national final against UW-Oshkosh.

The honor caps a historic senior season and career for Ray, whose play elevated La Verne to its fifth NCAA Championship match appearance and reinforced the Leopards' standing among Division III volleyball's elite.
