LA VERNE, CA — Hector Duenas-Pena has been tabbed the SCIAC Men's Soccer Defensive Athlete of the Week in back-to-back weeks after the Leopards to a 1-0 win over Chapman.

He recorded seven saves in the shutout. Denas-Pena has totaled 23 saves this season and hasn't allowed a goal.

The Leopards open SCIAC play at home on Wednesday, September 17 at at 7 p.m. against Occidental.
