LA VERNE, CA — Jordan Clarke led the University of La Verne swim and dive teams with two wins in a dual meet versus Caltech on Saturday afternoon. Seniors Kelly Long and Jaden Feliciano each picked up a win, and diver Shaun Concepcion completed his final home meet coming in second place.

Clarke touched first in both the women's 50 yard breaststroke with a time of 32.28 and the women's 100 yard breaststroke at 1:10.84 as she continues her strong start to her collegiate career.
Long and Feliciano each secured a victory on senior day. Long won the women's 200 yard freestyle recording 2:27.15 with very consistent splits throughout the race. Feliciano, who is coming off a Leopard of the Week award, was victorious in the men's 100 yard freestyle by just under two tenths of a second with a time of 50.16.
Sydney Yamamoto capped off La Verne's day with a successful 500 yard freestyle race winning it outright by a whopping 15 seconds with a time of 5:40.26.
Concepcion continues to build on his diving as he finished second in the one and the meter sections. He scored a 137.50 in the 3-meter and a 141.60 in the 1-meter.
Next Meet
The Leopards will regroup as they turn their focus to the SCIAC Swim and Dive conference championships at East Los Angeles College spanning over four days from February 18th to the 21st.
