LA VERNE, CA – The University of La Verne volleyball team has been voted number six on the AVCA-Taraflex National Preseason Poll. The AVCA (American Volleyball Coaches Association) votes every year to determine who sits in the top 25 of Division III volleyball.

La Verne is one of two SCIAC schools to be listed by the AVCA. CMS also made the list, in the 23rd spot. Ranked above ULV are Wisconsin-Oshkosh, Trinity, Berry, East Texas Baptist, and Colby. They amassed 1,406 points in the opening vote.
The Leopards made an impressive run last year, finishing the season with a 30-3, and the title of national runner up. With seven new faces on the roster, the Leos are looking to be just as successful.
