Zacky Coaston

Zacky Coaston led La Verne’s offensive attack with 16 kills across the two matches. Coaston was a consistent presence at the net, recording a .357 hitting percentage against Whittier and an impressive .500 mark versus Oxy. She also contributed defensively with six total blocks, helping the Leopards create scoring opportunities while limiting opponents at the net.

Joel Trejo
Joel Trejo delivered a standout offensive performance for La Verne, scoring once with an impressive 50-yard strike. Trejo’s long-range goal provided a highlight for the Leopards’ attack and showcased his ability to create scoring opportunities from distance.

Natalie Kooba, Women's Soccer

Kooba scored a spectacular first goal. In the 58th minute, with the Leopards trailing 1-0, she gathered a pass near the edge of the box, swerved past two defenders, and delivered a perfect shot into the top-right corner.

Tyler McCown, Football
Tyler McCown delivered a dominant performance on the ground in La Verne’s 45-16 victory over Willamette on Saturday. The running back carried the Leopards’ rushing attack with 230 yards on 31 attempts, averaging 7.4 yards per carry. McCown found the end zone twice and broke off a game-long 43-yard run, consistently helping La Verne control the game on the ground.

Lauren Gott, Women's Volleyball

Lauren Gott had a milestone performance at the annual Whittier Invitational, surpassing 1,000 career kills. Gott led the Leopards with 45 kills in the four-game stretch. She added 50 digs, five aces, and nine blocks.

Diego Soto, Men's Soccer
Diego Soto delivered a milestone performance for the Leopards, scoring the lone goal in La Verne’s 1-1 draw against No. 2-ranked Trinity. The forward’s goal helped La Verne earn a hard-fought result against one of the nation’s top teams.

Avery Bravo, Women's Cross Country
Bravo led the charge for the Leopards in her debut at the CSUSB Coyote Challenge, with a top-15 all-time performance for the program.

Trevon Kenney, Football
Kenney made a major impact defensively in La Verne’s 30-3 victory over Azusa Pacific on Saturday. The defensive back recorded one solo tackle and came up with two interceptions, returning them for a combined 61 yards. Kenney highlighted his performance with a 49-yard pick-six, helping the Leopards capitalize on a turnover and add to their dominant victory.

Bridget Ward, Womens Soccer

Ward opened her career as a Leo with a bang. She finished the game against Pacific Union with two shots and one goal. Her dominance on the field was apparent when she hurdled her opponent to find the net, scoring the Leos' second of five goals.

Zack Montoya, Men's Water Polo
Montoya showed off his attacking skills against McKendree in the final moments of the game. The Leos won with a narrow 13-12 final, thanks to the freshman who finished the tournament with a total of three goals.
