University of La Verne

Kristin Crowell is an alumna of the University of La Verne and has dedicated over 18 years to coaching cross country. She currently teaches at Claremont High School, where she also served as a cross country coach from 2008-2016 helping lead the program to numerous CIF Finals and State Championship appearances. Most notably, in 2016, both the boys' and girls' teams captured the CIF Division II California State Championship titles.

In addition to her work at Claremont, Coach Crowell spent 8 years coaching at Chaffey College. During her tenure there, she played a key role in guiding the women’s and mean’s team on many occasions to the to the State Championships,  as a team and as individuals.

A passionate and dedicated runner, Coach Crowell continues to log over 50 miles per week and regularly competes in half marathons and marathons. Outside of coaching and running, she is a published writer and enjoys spending time outdoors camping, rock climbing, and playing beach volleyball. She is married and the proud mother of two young daughters.
