Sid Robertson

Sid Robertson returns to the University of La Verne as the Leopards' Defensive Coordinator, bringing over 15 years of collegiate coaching experience across multiple levels of football. This marks his second stint with the Leopards, having previously served as the Defensive Line Coach and Recruiting Coordinator from 2019 to 2022.

Most recently, Robertson coached at national powerhouse Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California, where he led the defensive line for the nation’s top-ranked high school football program. Prior to that, he served as a Defensive Analyst at New Mexico State, working with the defensive line and linebackers under Head Coach Jerry Kill.

Before his time at La Verne, Robertson coached at Mount San Antonio College (mt. SAC)—his alma mater—where he assisted with the offensive line, running backs, and outside linebackers while also serving as the Run Game Coordinator. His experience also includes a successful run at American River College, where he contributed to the program's first-ever undefeated season in 2011 and multiple NorCal Championship appearances. He began his collegiate coaching career at Pasadena City College, focusing on the defensive line.

Throughout his career, Robertson has developed numerous student-athletes who have gone on to earn All-Conference, All-American, and four-year transfer honors, while also excelling academically and personally.

He is married to his wife Lethe, and they have a daughter, Lyanna Felila. Coach Robertson is excited to be back in La Verne and looks forward to leading the Leopards’ defense with energy, experience, and pride.
