LA VERNE, Calif – In a thrilling match held at Ortmayer Stadium, the University of La Verne's men's soccer team displayed their prowess by defeating Bethesda with a commanding 4-1 scoreline. The Leopards, boasting an impressive 4-1-0 record, showcased their superior skills on the field, leaving their opponents searching for answers.

The Leopards came out strong, with
Tyler Thomas netting the first goal at the 14:51 mark, assisted by
Michael Duran. This opening strike set the tone for the rest of the match.
Adan Villarreal continued La Verne's dominance with a goal at the 40:05 mark, assisted by
Oliver Alfonso. Not to be outdone,
Nick Malooly added another goal at 42:47, with an assist from
Adan Villarreal. Despite Bethesda's efforts, Victor Campos managed to score the only goal for the Flames.
Kaelem Walker sealed the victory for the Leopards with a late goal at 88:51.

La Verne displayed dominance, with 17 shots (11 on goal) compared to Bethesda's 9 (6 on goal). La Verne's solid defense, with 5 saves, ensured that Bethesda were unable to mount a successful comeback.
