LA VERNE, Calif. - The Leopards concluded the Gary Troyer Tournament with an intense match against Cal State Fullerton. Freshman starter Jordan Baker delivered exceptional performances, complemented by the impressive performance of his middle counterpart, David Gutierrez.
Senior Leopard Peter Trinh once again exhibited dominance on the offensive front, netting four goals against the Titans. Ryan Beery extended his goal streak with three goals, including an impressive long backhand throw and another from deep within Titan territory, showcasing his undeniable strength.
Jordan Baker, Nicolo Buono, and David Gutierrez each contributed two goals to the Leopard tally. The support off the Leopard bench played a pivotal role throughout the afternoon. Despite falling short to the Titans with a final score of 13-19, this outing marked a significant success for each individual Leopard and added positively to their season-long statistics.
Looking ahead, the Leopards are set to continue their SCIAC campaign at Chapman University on October 7th, with the game scheduled to commence at 11 am.
