Box Score LA VERNE, CA — The University of La Verne women's soccer team fell at home 4-1 to the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens Saturday afternoon.
The Leopards celebrated 10 seniors in a pregame ceremony.

Destiny Saillant set the Leopards' goal when she perfectly lofted a pass into the box and a charging
Jordan Moody tapped it in to get La Verne on the board.
Macedo finished with eight saves. She made two big stops in the second half with La Verne trailing 2-1 to help keep the Leopards in contention. She charged forward and swiped a would be shot form a sprinting Sagehens with 14 minutes left. A few seconds later, she stopped a point blank attack in front of the goal.
La Verne moves to 4-6-4 overall and 1-5-2 in the SCIAC. Pomona-Pitzer goes to 9-1-2 overall and 5-1-1.
The Leopards host the University of Redlands on Wednesday, October at 7 p.m.
