THOUSAND OAKS, CA — The University of La Verne ended their trip to Ventura County with a a commanding 10-1 win over Cal Lutheran.
La Verne dominated the Regals in game two, posting a season-high 14 hits in the win.
Pitcher Jada Coria had a standout performance, allowing just one run in the complete game win.
Four different Leopards posted three hits. Cassandra Zapata, Taylor Gray, and Jaylene Jaloma all went 3-4 with two RBIs. Zapata and Gray both crossed the plate twice.
Angelina Alderete added three hits and led La Verne with three runs.
Julia Miramontes finished with two runs, one hit, and one walk. Isabella Garcia drew two walks, with one hit and one run.

La Verne struggled to find rhythm in the first game. Erika Garcia and Angelina Alderete each had a hit in the loss.
