LA VERNE, CA — Finn McClure and Jocelyn Cruz have been named the SCIAC Men's and Women's Cross Country Athletes of the Week, the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced Monday.

The Leoaprds competed at the San Francisco State Invitational as the only DIII squad in a field of Division I, II, and NAIA programs.

Finn McClure led the way with a strong 25:53.9 and a top-30 individual finish to pace and led the men's squad to a sixth-place team finish.

Freshman Jocelyn Cruz led the women's squad with a time of 24:37.4.
