LA VERNE, CA — University of La Verne women's basketball standouts Marissa Howell, Annie Trinh, and Christen Ziska have been named to the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team for their excellence on the court and in the classroom.

To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, maintain a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade point average, and either compete in at least 90 percent of their institution's games played or start in at least 66 percent of those games.

The 2024-25 Academic All-District Women's Basketball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined athletic and academic achievements. Academic All-District honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot, with student-athletes denoted by an asterisk (*) moving forward for national recognition. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on April 16, 2025.
