LA VERNE, CA – The University of La Verne women's volleyball team has once again been recognized for its excellence both on and off the court, earning the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award for the fifth consecutive year.

Following the 2024 season in which the Leopards advanced to the NCAA Quarterfinals, the team also demonstrated its commitment to academic success. To qualify for the prestigious AVCA Team Academic Award, programs must maintain a year-long cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.3 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

The Leopards' achievement highlights the program's dedication to balancing the demands of collegiate athletics with strong academic performance.
