LA VERNE, CA — The University of La Verne Women's Soccer team battled a strong ninety minutes, but fell to NAIA Life Pacific University Warriors, 2-0. 

The Leopards attacked frequently, finishing with seven shots and four on goal, but couldn't find the goal. Maren Handel and Ryenn Zerbel both played a strong game for the Leopards. Laney Cutler and Alexandra Allen were also offensive presences on Saturday night. Katy Beck finished with two saves.

The Leopards are back in action at Occidental College on September 17th, at 7 p.m. for their first SCIAC match-up.
