LA VERNE, CA — The University of La Verne women's soccer team fought hard for a 0-0 tie Wednesday at the University of Redlands. Both teams craved a SCIAC win, but with no overtime, they ended in a tie.

Alexandra Allen stood out for the Leopards, with three shots and one on goal. Her teammate Lexi Torres had a similar game and also provided pressure against the Bulldogs.

In goal was reining Leopard of the Week Katy Beck who finished with two saves, bringing her total up to 35 so far in the season. Beck leads the SCIAC in total saves.

The Leopards are back in action on Saturday, September 27 at Cal Lutheran University at 7 p.m.
