SANTA CLARITA, CA — The University of La Verne women's soccer team walked away with a 3-0 defeat against the NAIA Master's University Mustangs.
Natalia Portillo finished the game with seven saves in her first action as a Leopard.

Lex Sahagian each struck a shot on goal for the Leos. Defensively, La Verne put up a fight and played a clean game; the Mustangs almost quadrupled the Leopards' foul count.
