PORTLAND, OR — The University of La Verne men's and women's cross country teams are set to compete at the 2024 NCAA DIII West Region Cross Country Regionals hosted by Lewis & Clark College. 

The Leopards will race on the Pioneer's home course at McIver State Park on Saturday morning in this year's Regional Championship Meet. 
 
Each of the top 35 runners in the men's and women's races will earn West All-Region honors. The top seven finishers who aren't on National qualifying teams will earn a trip to the National Championship Meet. The NCAA will announce the field (teams and individual runners) for this year's NCAA National Championship Meet on Sunday by Noon (Pacific). 

The La Verne women's squad will look to improve on their 17th-place finish a year ago. The men's squad plans to repeat as top-10 finishers.
