LA VERNE, CA — The University of La Verne Men's Basketball team faced Chapman University in a SCIAC conference game at the Sports Science Athletic Pavilion, ultimately falling 71-55.

Despite the defeat, the Leopards showcased strong individual efforts. Senior guard Dahmaj Warren led with 14 points, six rebounds, and five assists, while Paul Antonis added 19 points, including four three-pointers. Logen Howard  also contributed eight points and five rebounds.

Chapman excelled with 48% shooting, led by Jake Heberle's 25 points and Murphy Caffo's 22 points, and capitalized on turnovers for critical scoring opportunities.

The Leopards trailed by 10 at halftime and battled in the second half but couldn't overcome the Panthers' consistent offense and rebounding edge.

La Verne (0-6, 0-1 SCIAC) will look to bounce back as they host California Miramar University on Saturday, December 7, at 2:00 PM.
