THOUSAND OAKS, CA — Logen Howard scored a game-high 18 points shooting 7-12 from the field and recorded a career-high five takeaways in a tough 8–69 road loss to No. 13 Cal Lutheran University.
Paul Antonis recorded 11 points alongside two blocks and three defensive rebounds.
Austin Nassar was a spark off the bench, scoring 11 points in 12 minutes of action.
Dahmaj Warren and
Carlos Bedolla each totaled nine points each. Bedolla led La Verne off the glass with six rebounds.
Riley O'Connor led Cal Lutheran with 17 points and five rebounds.
The Leopards move to 6-13 overall and 3-8 in SCIAC play. Cal Lutheran improves 17-3 and 10-1.
La Verne will continue SCIAC play at home on Wednesday, February 7 at 7 p.m.
