LA VERNE, CA -
Maya Sanborn recorded her first career double-double as the University of La Verne women's basketball team defeated the Crown College Polars 47-43 on Tuesday afternoon in The Tents.
Sanborn racked up 10 points and recorded 12 rebounds while
Alyssa Smith added nine points and 10 rebounds.
Lailah Leonard-Roberts,

After closing the first quarter with a two-point lead, the Leopards found their rhythm and took control of the remainder of the contest, building a game-high 14-point advantage in the fourth quarter.
