LA VERNE, CA — After an impressive start to the 2025 season, the University of La Verne baseball team has climbed the ranks in D3Baseball.com's Week 1 Top 25 Rankings.

The Leopards' strong performances, including a SCIAC-opening series sweep over Whittier College, has propelled them forward to No. 10 as they continue to make their mark on the national stage. This marks a notable rise from their preseason ranking of No. 18, reflecting the Leopards' strong start to the 2025 season. 

The D3baseball.com Top 25 is a widely respected poll that evaluates NCAA Division III baseball teams nationwide. The Leopards' advancement in these rankings highlights their status as a formidable contender this season. 

The University of La Verne community eagerly anticipates the continued success of the baseball team as they strive for excellence both on and off the field.

La Verne looks to build on this momentum as they prepare for their upcoming non-conference matchup against the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse on Friday, March 7, at 3 PM at Ben Hines Field.
