LA VERNE, CA – The University of La Verne baseball team continues its impressive 2025 season, earning the No. 11 spot in the latest
D3Baseball.com/NCBWA Top 25 rankings released this week. This marks a significant achievement for the Leopards, who have steadily climbed the national rankings throughout the season.
The Leopards (31-8, 18-6 SCIAC) wrapped up conference play this past weekend with a series win on the road at Redlands, securing their third consecutive SCIAC Regular Season Championship. The three-peat marks the program's first since 1985–1987 and brings the University of La Verne Athletics Department to a historic milestone—100 combined team championships across national, SCIAC regular season, and SCIAC Tournament titles.
La Verne has maintained a consistent presence in the national rankings throughout the season, reaching as high as No. 2 and regularly proving itself as one of the top Division III teams in the country.
The Leopards will now turn their attention to the SCIAC Postseason Tournament, entering as the No. 1 seed. They are set to host the winner of Cal Lutheran and Redlands on Thursday, May 8 at Ben Hines Field, with first pitch scheduled for 3 PM.
