LA VERNE, CA – The 2026 DIII All-Region Baseball honorees were announced Tuesday morning, and three Leopards earned recognition for their standout seasons. Freshman
Jack Holguin earned First Team honors from both, was named Region 10 Pitcher of the Year from ABCA/Rawlings, and was dubbed as Rookie of the Year and Pitcher of the Year from D3baseball.com. Senior
Nathan Perry collected First Team honors from ABCA/Rawlings and Third Team recognition from D3baseball.com, while fellow senior
Aidan Salcedo also earned D3baseball.com Third Team honors.

Holguin put together a phenomenal freshman campaign, emerging as one of the conference's most dominant arms and establishing himself as one of the top young pitchers in Division III baseball. In 13 appearances, including nine starts, Holguin posted an outstanding 8-1 record while logging 60.1 innings and striking out 50 batters. He maintained a stellar 2.69 ERA and a 1.18 WHIP, consistently giving his team quality outings while allowing just 18 earned runs all season. Among the highlights of his remarkable debut season were a no-hitter, as well as First Team All-SCIAC honors, the SCIAC Pitcher of the Year award, and the SCIAC Newcomer of the Year accolade. He was twice named SCIAC Pitcher of the Week, selected to the D3Baseball.com Team of the Week, and earned national recognition as the NCBWA Pitcher and Rookie of the Week.
Perry capped off an outstanding senior season as one of the most dangerous offensive catchers in the country. Over 43 games, Perry tallied 63 hits and scored 49 runs while driving in a team-high 57 RBIs. He showcased both power and consistency at the plate, recording 13 doubles, four triples, and four home runs while adding six stolen bases. Perry slashed an impressive .382 batting average, .463 on-base percentage, and .582 slugging percentage. His stellar campaign earned him First Team All-SCIAC honors, along with SCIAC Hitter of the Week recognition, and a selection to the D3Baseball.com Team of the Week. As a senior leader behind the plate and in the batter's box, Perry's production and presence were instrumental to the team's success all season long.
Salcedo delivered a strong senior season at second base, serving as a steady and productive presence in the lineup throughout the year. Over 43 games, Salcedo recorded 57 hits and scored 46 runs while driving in 44 RBIs. He consistently found ways to contribute offensively, tallying 12 doubles and two home runs while adding four stolen bases. His disciplined approach at the plate was reflected in his outstanding 22 walks, helping him post an impressive .365 batting average, .493 on-base percentage, and .481 slugging percentage. Salcedo's ability to consistently get on base and produce in key situations made him a vital part of the team's offensive success. His excellent all-around performance earned him Second Team All-SCIAC honors, capping a strong senior campaign and highlighting his impact as a leader during his final season.
