Box Score LANCASTER, CA — Five Leopards finished in double figures, and the University of La Verne men's basketball team rolled in the second half to a 125-97 win at West Coast Baptist.

Darien Guyton couldn't be stopped, scoring on eight of 11 attempts, including four three-pointers to lead the Leopards with 23 points. He also grabbed eight rebounds and finished with two assists and a steal.

Tyler Brown was nearly perfect, scoring 21 points on 9-10 shooting with five rebounds, two assists, and a steal. Logen Howard also shot 8-11 with four three-pointers to finish with 21 points. He also totaled five boards with three assists and two blocks.

The Leopards shot 62.8 percent from the field in the win.

After heading into the break with a slim 59-57 lead, the Leopards opened the second half on an 8-0 run, led by four points from Guyton to extend their lead to 67-57. The game was never in question after that.

Kyler Harvey scored 17 points off 7-10 shooting with six boards and a steal. Paul Antonis nearly finished with a double-double, finishing with 13 points and nine rebounds.

The Leopards' bench contributed 54 points in the victory. La Verne made the most of its second chances, converting 20 offensive rebounds to 28 points.

The Eagles were led by Braxton Bosher's 36 points.

La Verne returns home and will face West Coast Baptist again at 2 p.m., Saturday, December 9.
