Handel Named All-SCIAC for Third-Straight Year

LA VERNE, CA — Maren Handel has been named Second Team All-SCIAC, the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced Wednesday.

It is the third-straight year Handel has picked up Second Team All-SCIAC honors.

Handel led the Leopards' back line that recorded six shutouts this season, including a clean slate in a 2-0 win in the home finale.

Handel is the first Leopard to earn three All-SCIAC honors since Delanie Pacheco (2011, 2013, 2014), and is the first to pick up three-straight awards since Ashley Vanga acquired four in a row (2007-2010).
