Ledford Named SCIAC Hitter of the Week

LA VERNE, CA — The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced Monday that Jake Ledford has been named the SCIAC Baseball Hitter of the Week.

The sophomore had a massive week in a sweep over No.11 Pomona-Pitzer, hitting .600, totaling six hits, tallying three RBIs, swiping four bags, and scoring twice. He finished the week with a 1.200 OPS.

Ledford is batting .429 with a .960 OPS this season.

Ledford and the No. 2 Leopards will return to action this Friday at 3 p.m. when they face the No. 10 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Stags at Azusa Pacific University.
