LA VERNE, CA -  The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced Monday that Jay Alvarado-Wing has been named the SCIAC's Men's Golfer of the Week. 

The sophomore had an outstanding outing in a showdown against Pomona-Pitzer at Costa Mesa Country Club. He finished first in the field with a -6 in the one-round event. He tallied five birdies and highlighted the round with an eagle on the 14th hole. 

This is Wing's second time being named SCIAC AOTW this year. 

Wing and the rest of the University of La Verne Men's golf team wil be back in action April 27th at the SCIAC championships.
