BEAUMONT, CA — Shreyas Kumaresh finished top 14 as the University of La Verne men's golf team competed in the SCIAC #2 Tournament.

Kumaresh was dialed in during his second round, finishing just one over par with six birdies. Overall for the tournament he shot a +13 which is good for his best finish of the season.

Manuel Huerta posted a +15, David Cho tallied a +23, and Caleb Ruchaber finished at +31. Huerta had five birdies and two eagles during his two rounds.

The Leos finished seventh overall.

The Leopards return to action for the SCIAC Championships hosted by Oxy at the Santa Anita Golf Course in Arcadia on April 23rd.
