Leopards Show Grit at SCIAC No. 2

PALMDALE, CA — The University of La Verne women's golf team competed at SCIAC No. 2 this past weekend at Antelope Valley Country Club, finishing seventh in the team standings.

The Leopards were led by Alexis Aguilera and Daniela Soto who tied for 26th place. Aguilera tallied three birdies over the two-round tournament. Aguilera showed consistency on the Par 3s, ranking among the top-10 performers. Soto added in round one a birdie and landed in the middle of the field in Par 3 and 4 scoring


 Taylor Ward followed closely behind, adding 16 pars and showing flashes of strong play across both days.


Mia Gonzales contributed 13 pars and a birdie of her own and maintained a steady effort across the course. 
Kaylee Perdomo posted a birdie for the Leos.

Next Round


The Leopards now look ahead to the SCIAC Championship, set for April 27-29, where they'll aim to finish the season strong and build on individual improvements.
