LA VERNE, CA — University of La Verne junior
Jason Bustos has been named to the Honorable Mention 2025 NCAA Division III PING All-America Team, as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).
Bustos was one of just 26 golfers nationally to earn Honorable Mention status, recognizing his standout performance throughout the 2024–25 season. The honor comes on the heels of a strong campaign that also saw him earn Second Team All-SCIAC and PING All-Region (Region VII) honors.
A key contributor to the Leopards' success, Bustos showcased his skill and consistency across the season. He also represented La Verne at the 2025 NCAA Division III Championships, capping his season at the national level.
Hailing from Menifee, California and a product of Santa Rosa Academy, Bustos has been a reliable presence in the Leopards' lineup since his first season and continues to be a leader both on and off the course.
The PING All-America Teams, voted on by coaches nationwide, represent the highest honors in NCAA Division III men's golf. Bustos' recognition places him among the elite golfers in the country for the 2024–25 season.
