Three Leopards Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors in Men’s Golf

LA VERNE, CA — Three members of the University of La Verne men's golf team have been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.

Patrick Laagura, Jason Bustos, and Shreyas Kumaresh each earned the honor for their academic excellence and contributions on the course during the 2024-25 season.

To be eligible, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, and compete in 90 percent of the team's rounds or be in the starting lineup for at least 66 percent of competitions.

The 2024-25 Academic All-District Men's Golf teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the top student-athletes in the nation across NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA for their combined achievements in competition and academics.
