MOORPARK, CA — Alexis Aguilera finished in the top 17 as the University of La Verne women's golf team took part in the CLU Regals Invitational.

Aguilera recorded a +19 with seven total birdies over two rounds and improved by a stroke on day two. Taylor Ward finished 27th with a +27, three birdies, and shaved five strokes off her game in round two. Grace Freitas and Mia Gonzalez took home 32nd and 33rd with a +31 and +32, respectively. Hayley Kucera wrapped up her weekend with a +59.

La Verne finished in sixth place.

The Leopards return to action on April 3rd at SCIAC #2 hosted at Tukwet Legends Golf Course in Beaumont.
